Mary Jaro's parents Andre Giroux (Andrew Jaro) and Caesarie Lapterre (Sarah Stone) are also buried in the Shirley Cemetery, as are three of their children: Theophilus Martin (died in infancy), Henry Desires (Desire) Martin and his wife (Cara Cambridge) Martin and and five of their children (Glen Arlington Martin, Lillie Belle (Martin) Jackson Andrews, Prescott Henry Martin, Glen Martin, Jr., and Grace Martin), Pheobe (Julia Martin) Wilson and her husband William Wilson and their son Albert Wilson. Herbert Virgil Martin and his wife Addie Lillian (McClellan) Martin.

Bartholomew Martin's wife Mary (Jaro) Martin, and thirteen other Martin family members are buried here. Bartholomew's great-grand-daughter Joan A Martin of South Windsor, Connecticut, married James Porter Deering of Shirley, Massachusetts one hundred and thirteen years (1862-1975) after his marriage to Mary (Jaro) Martin. Mr. Deering's parents (Joseph Lewis Deering, and Esther Elizabeth (Gates) Deering are also buried there. Jim and Joan (Martin) Deering resided in Shirley, 1983-2006, and now reside in Sebastian Florida.
