    1. His relation in person and work to God

      1. He is the Son of God (Lk.T:33:35; Jn. 3:16),

      2. The Servant of God (Isa. 42:1-4, fulfilled in Mt. 12:18-31).

      3. The Lamb of God (Jn- 1:29; 1 Pet. 1:18-19).

      4. He is the equal of God (Heb. 1:3; Jn. 10:30; Phil. 2:6; Jn. 1:1).
         

    2. His relationship to Israel as a nation

      1. King (Lk.T:31-33; Mt. 3:3; 27:37).

      2. Priest (Ps. 110:4).

      3. Prophet (Dt. 18:15-19; Acts 3:21-24).
         

    3. His relation to the Church

      1. Head (Eph. 1:22; Col. 1:18; Eph. 5:23).

      2. He is the Bridegroom (Jn. 3:29; 1 Cor. 11:2; Eph. 5:23).

      3. Foundation (1 Pet. 2:5-6; Eph. 2:19-22; 1 Cor. 3:11-12).

        Head of the body; Foundation of the building; Bridegroom of the bride.
         

    4. His relationship to the individual Christian

      1. Saviour (Mt. 1:21; Lk. 2:11; Acts 4:12; Lk. 19:10).

      2. Lord; we are His servants Jn. 13:13; Rom. 1:1). He is our God Jn. 20:28; Tit. 2:13).

      3. Our High Priest (Heb. 7).
